Part of the Wall |
Well, I have been focusing on change so much lately that I haven't even written anything or shown any new pics for weeks! It feels like I've been moving, moving, and moving some more- to cabins, sublets, tents and, finally to the seasonal place I'll be care taking for the winter- a big house and carriage hose that can have up to 25 guests! Wish me luck (I just may need it...)
As far as photos- well, hmmm... I had cause to go back to a campground I stayed in a bit over a month ago- I'd built a few rock sculptures, with the intention of having them go all around a wall. Lo and behold, most of my sculptures had fallen (we've had a few pretty good storms), but there are now rock sculptures standing all around the building- so many different styles-and I just had to add a few more! Community art at work.
Sorry these photos are all a jumble- I can never seem to make them appear where i want them to.

Due to blogger never putting pictures where I wanted them I started doing collages in picmonkey! hOPE YOU HAVE fun cartaking.. shouldn't try to type in the dark!
Great rock sculptures.
those are very cool - and even better that people joined in!
I so understand. If I ever get Blogger to leave what I post alone it will be a miracle. Love that your rock sculptures started something for others to join.
Good luck with the caretaking - sounds quite a place (and possibly will take a lot of work).
Love the sculptures - I found Picasa has a few collage options, which are fun to play with - I used one this week...
Great interpretation of this week's prompt :)
Wow, what an honor to have started a communal art project! Love your pictures, and I sympathize about the picture placement - I have started just marching them down the page, all the same size.
These are awesome!! I've just been down in Maine, and along one of the walkways which edge the ocean, is an area where there are literally 1000's of these statues built by passers-by. It is so cool, and you've got a good start there too! LOVE the Samurai!
Such a splendid idea! I love the sculptures - and how it became a 'community project' :) Good luck with the house ;)
Great rock sculptures. It looks like a great place to spend some time.
I love rock sculptures! When we traveled up to New England last summer we saw them everywhere!
Your new job sounds both exiting and a lot of work. I love all those rock sculptures.
As for Blogger I just put the cursor where I want the photo to be and it seems to work for me. But lately I can't use Internet Explorer any more to make a blog post and now have to use Chrome.
Yep, I totally understand the blogger issues! I do love your pics - very cool. And very cool that other's are joining in the fun!
I love your rock sculptures! Those are just way to cool. And house sitting for the winter....sounds like fun to me! Enjoy!
Thanks for all the comments! And the advice about putting cursor where I want it- maybe instead of loading everything at once I should try that.
Caretaking of a property like that sounds wonderful! I wish you all the best. Pretty cool rock sculptures. I love how people make them and others add to them.
