Ah, so, the other day I was inspired to make some glass bird beads. Yes, I've tried this before and not been completely pleased with the results. This time I came up with a couple of different styles that I rather liked. Some were turned into earrings, others into ornaments~ all ready for the ornament blog hop! Click here to see other wonderful artisan made ornaments.
These are so easy to make~ you just need a rather heavy weight, long headpin and some complimentary beads. Line 'em up, make a loop and Bob's your uncle, you're ready to roll!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and enjoying making loads of cool things!

Such beautiful little birdies! I love them! Thanks for playing along. Enjoy the day. Erin
Those birds are perfectly quirky! I adore their cuteness, and they're great in the ornaments. But, I had to laugh, I've never heard the phrase "Bob's your uncle". From the context, I assume it means "just like that" or something along those lines. I love fun little cliches like that.
A delight to the eye and the heart.
Your birds are beautiful! They will be a lovely addition to your tree :)
The birds turned out beautiful, I love the collection of accent beads too.
Love these little birdies. They'd look perfectly at home, nestled in a Christmas tree!
I can see those birds reflecting all the lights on the Christmas tree! And they are beautiful!
